40 Years of
Freedom, Unity & Change

Forty years ago, the first “Meeting of the Minds” fueled the engine that brought us the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF). The roads we traversed toward freedom took us through unity and change.

Freedom because we love the freedoms that motorcycling gives us.

Unity because we knew that uniting and working together was the only way to overcome soon-to-be-realized adversity.

Change because we knew the freedom we loved was doomed if we did not organize and build strong grassroots organizations.

We can no longer expect that change will come to us if we are not encouraging new ideas and new directions. The MRF is committed to welcoming new ideas to foster the protection of motorcycling and motorcyclist rights.

Building strong SMROs and grassroots activism is what the Meeting of the Minds is all about. Yes, we will be celebrating forty years of success. However, adding to the celebration will be sixteen workshops, five general session presentations, and a panel discussion that will wake you up faster than a six-pack of energy drinks!

Since 1987, with the founding of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation, the MRF has listened to the voices of street-riding motorcycle enthusiasts and taken that message to Congress.

Those voices get stronger and are listened to intently as our membership grows. Your membership will have an influence in protecting the future of motorcycling. Your attendance at the Meeting of the Minds adds synchronization to our collective voice.
