Ride in Peace Wayne

The Motorcycle Riders Foundation mourns the passing of motorcyclist rights activist Wayne Lettau.

Wayne was heavily involved in the MRF’S federal legislative agenda, and his efforts with ABATE of South Dakota are legendary. His passion and skills delivered countless legislative victories including an impressive undefeated streak in the Statehouse.

We remember Wayne as a true “gentle giant”. He was friendly, yet fierce. He was a tremendous asset to the motorcycling world, but even more, he was truly a wonderful human being and a dear friend to us all.

Wayne and his wife Susan were inducted into the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame as Freedom Fighters in 2020.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Susan, the Lettau family and Wayne’s infinite number of friends.

Ride in Peace Wayne.
